Like the title of this topic implies, how do i get my apps to automatically update? When I first got my phone, a help window said that it can be configured at a later time so I said no to automatic updates. Now I wish I had set it to automatic. Does anyone know how to do this on a LG Motion?
I'm running production Centos web servers. I want to know what is best practice for running updates. Should I automate this with yum-cron or yum-updatesd?
I've been trying to get my play store to work for the past hour and kept timing out. I have been using version 3.10.14 because I have apps which won't work with 4.0.25. I have automatic updates disabled. Now all of a sudden my AV app pops up saying scanning new software. I check and it says Play Store updated. I checked in app manager and its now 4.0.26. Thing is that 1) I didn't want the update.
How To Configure Automatic Updates On Debian Squeeze
This tutorial shows how to configure a Debian Squeeze system to have
package updates installed automatically without user interaction. In

system email you about available updates on a daily basis.
Hi,
Given 10.3 has just been discontinued, there won't be any more updates. But I can't find how to disable automatic updates... According to the manual, the applet config should offer an "automatically start updater on login" checkbox, but mine doesn't (Gnome).
I couldn't find in Yast either.
Thanks in advance.

I've looked in the Event Logs and there's nothing logged leading up to it.I'm very technical, but not a trained server administrator.
I have a dedicated server since my site is active enough to require one.
I'd like to automatically install Windows server updates (backed by WSUS), but can't seem to get wuauclt /updatenow to actually initiate an install (or any of the other undocumented switches).
It works on a test workstation, but I believe that's because installation is set to Automatic Every Day while the server is set to Detect Only.
I'm using Ubuntu 12.04. I am new at Ubuntu. The system has given me a message that says "you must check updates manually" ... "You can configure this behavior in Software Sources on the Updates tab".
But I can't find Software Sources.
I'm using System Center Configuration Manager 2012 with the Software Update Point feature; however, in this environment patching has to be strictly manual, because server reboots need to be approved and scheduled by different people; thus, I need to use ConfigMgr's SUP as a plain WSUS server with auto-approval but with manual installation.
I created some Automatic Deployment Rules to automaticall
