http://unix.stackexchange.com – How can I install VirtualBox Guest Additions from a Bash script, in a unattended way? Whenever I run apt-get -y install dkms virtualbox-guest-dkms from the terminal I'm presented with a interactive dialog, is there any way to safely bypass or pre-select the dialog choices? (HowTos)

I am having a lot of troubles to have my virtualbox guest additions installed, I got this message:

Is anyone having trouble installing Guest Additions on VirtualBox 4.2.10? I want to install Fedora 18 (64bit) Guest on an Ubuntu Host and so far so good, except for the Guest Additions. Here is feedback from Fedora OS:

Fairly new to Vagrant, so bear with me if I don't understand the process.

I downloaded a CentOS box off http://www.vagrantbox.es/

Started it up running VirtualBox 4.2.4 and got this message:

[default] The guest additions on this VM do not match the install version of VirtualBox! This may cause things such as forwarded ports, shared folders, and more to not work properly.

Hey guys I was just curious to see if one of you may be able to help me out.I reinstalled Chakra through virtualbox and did the upgrade. Now when i try to install guest additions, even though it seems to work and goes ok It will not enter fullscreen.
