As stated in the following link, a window will popup for the user to input the keyring password when it is autologin:
If you are autologin'ing to your machine, gdm uses su to become your user, without ever using the password.
I have a fedora 17 install that is configured to autologin a user without administrative rights. I would like to have a script run automatically after login (not system boot) that will launch a program and restart the computer after the program terminates.
I have set up a batch of workstations at a library using DRBL. These workstations are running Ubuntu 14.04. I want these workstations to autologin to a specific user (a different one for each workstation, since the /home file system is NFS mounted).
