This question Is there any way to hide taskbar labels and not combine taskbar buttons? works for the taskbar in the normal position but not when its on the side. Is there a way to produce this effect with the taskbar on the left? (Win 8.1)
I am using Ubuntu12.10, I wanted to hide the "taskbar".
I tried using gconf-editor by giving
gconftool-2 --set --type bool /apps/panel/toplevels/top_panel_Screen0/auto_hide 1
but I couldn't find any effect.
How can I hide the taskbar and regain it when I need it?
I have a Windows 8.1 HP 64 bit computer, and when I open an app it displays it on the taskbar. Before it doesn't display it on the taskbar, the only way to get to it is to slide your mouse to the top left corner of the screen, but now it does. Now you can click the app from the taskbar, which I don't want it to. Is there anyway to hide the apps? I will appreciate any help! Thank you!
After foolishly using this 'optimize resources' option provided by Bitdefender Total Security 2015, my GUI suffered some changes; after uninstalling it, I managed to restore most of them—at least from what I can tell—but for a single and extremely annoying one: my Windows taskbar is set to auto-hide.
I want to hide a certain application (in this case Chrome) from the taskbar in Windows 7 64-bit but keep the window visible (the window is running permanently visible on a 2nd monitor and I don't want to be bothered by the taskbar icon all the time.).
Hi I'm trying to build this pakage pkgname=taskbar
pkgdesc="A transparent taskbar that collects your favorite applications and runs them in a simple click"
