This has been a long time in the making, but after almost three months of testing in the highly experimental Firefox Nightly release channel, Firefox’s new Australis user interface has now found its way into the pre-beta Aurora channel. The new user interface, which the company has been working on for a long time, gives the browser a more Chrome-like look.
I am using Firefox Aurora in my Ubuntu 12.04 which I have installed via its ppa (ppa:ubuntu-mozilla-daily/firefox-aurora). As expected of Aurora, I get an update usually after 2-3 days. I have Firefox Aurora installed in Windows too. There also I get updates in 2-3 days but size of update is usually 4-5 MB, while in Ubuntu it's always around 20 MB.
What is the reason for this difference?
Anyone here using the Aurora channel? I've been looking over posts about Aurora at Mozillazine and it seems there's been a bit of confusion (merely rebranding?) but the icon is nice: https://mozorg.cdn.mozilla.net/media...oggler-dev.png
