Here's what I want to do: I wonder if anyone here has any ideas.
I want to stream *live* audio from one PC to another over the Internet. (The reason is for use as a backup Studio To Transmitter, or "STL," for my radio stations.) This would not be broadcast to the general public, so I don't need a 'Cast server on the Internet.
I've been looking everywhere for the best option for streaming live audio to phones. I've tried the nginx hls module, I've tried unreal media server, but I want to make sure to have something that is low-latency, reliable, and scalable. Any suggestions?
I have looking through tutorials for setting up Icecast2 server and ices2 on Ubuntu. Unfortunately all of these are based on LAN. I want to set up a Icecast server on a ubuntu machine which will be connected 24/7 to the Internet. The clients need to access the streams, the server provides from across the globe. Assuming the server has a static IP, how do i configure Icecast?

I saw that some streaming radios had links like "mms://IP.Address/classic", "mms://IP.Address/pop", ...
So, I was wondering If there's a way to set up my own streaming server (that uses simple links like those above) on my debian dedicated server...

Hello everyone, I have a few questions concerning tasker and BT audio streaming for a car dock.
The plan would be to place the phone into the dock and have it instantly start streaming audio over BT throughout the vehicle as well as open torque app.
I can purchase a BT receiver and that will take care of the streaming.
I could use some help troubleshooting choppy streaming audio. The problem is jerky playback regardless of audio or video with audio.
