Is there a way to perform search replace in the installed files during installation? The replace should be made using a host-specific file which installed separately. Ideally the checksums RPM keeps should match the installed files after installation.
This happens occasionally with ATI VGA cards. In that case, you can certainly try with CentOS 6.2, or attempt installing CentOS 5.7 using the text installation method, or, a graphical installation ... [by milosb]
I have been trying to perform alt disk installation for AIX 6.1 server.
Phas 3 fails and bosboot is not getting updated.
when i tried only phase 1 and phase 3 by skipping phase 2 for just testing purpose, then boot image was getting updated.
But when i try phase3 after phase 2, boot image is not getting updated.

i want to have centOS 6.0 86_64 as a dom0 xen host, during the installation of centOS there are many options of installation "minimal" "Basic Server"... "Virtual Host"..
the question is which one i should select? is it "virtual host" or i can go with "Basic server" or "minimal(which is the default)" ?!
Now i am trying to install f16 by creating a free space, but after choosing "use free space" type of installation it showing a bug and asked me to save using network but i dont have any wired or wireless connection i do have bsnl 3g datacard.
