So I picked up an iPhone 5 today, which is destined for the wife. However, I had to have a couple of days to play w/ the new gadget naturally. I activated it on my account, and it works normally (AT&T unlimited LTE).
I also had bought a nano to micro sim adapter off Amazon. I popped the new nano sim out of the iPhone 5, put it in the adapter and then back into my AT&T One X.
Written by: Alex Zaharov-Reutt | Published in: MobilityAfter reports earlier this year that Apple, Nokia, Motorola and others had been fighting over the next generation of SIM cards, going from today’s micro SIMS to a smaller new nano-SIM design, the whole thing sounds anything but SIMple.
Right now, all sim cards plus free shipping. I ordered two micro sim cards and got the free next day shipping.
Since about two weeks ago when I last checked my iPhone with my T-Mobile sim, I noticed that I now have excellent 3G HSPA+ speeds on my iPhone 4S just like on my Nexus 4. I can now forget about and cancel my crappy AT&T service and never look back!
Ready for your new iPhone 5? You may have to wait a bit longer. These handsets need compatible nano-SIM cards before they can be used. Can you cut down an existing SIM card? Here's your answer.

Why can iPhone do this but not my nexus 4?
Hey guys. So I traded my iphone 5 for a galaxy note 2 today. My iphone 5 was att and I thought the guy's Note was too but it turned out to be T Mobile (its was already rooted too). I couldnt walk away and traded anyway. Got the phone unlocked from Cell Unlocker and I went by ATT to get a new sim since the iphone took nano sims and the Note took micro. Activated it over the phone etc.
Is there any way to get push notifications for the Tapatalk on on the nexus 4? When I was using the iPhone 5 every time someone would quote me I would get a notification.
Yup, I've been testing them both out together for the last few days, and I gotta say... This nexus 4 is no slouch what so ever.
My usual deal breaker test is in the dark to see how well the flash performs, well I gotta say that my nexus pretty much spanked my iPhone 5.

I've noticed a lot of the criticism around the lack of LTE invariably mentions how the iPhone added it. I don't quite get why that matters, though. People seem to mention how "connected" the iPhone is, and how they spared no expense making it connect to everything.
The iPhone up until the 5 has had crappy connectivity. The iPhone 4 had EV-DO Rev A, and HSPA.
