AT&T acquires NextWave Wireless for $25 million to help grow its LTE network

http://www.talkandroid.com – Looks like AT&T is looking for any way to boost its LTE network and attempt to further themselves from the competition. Today AT&T has done just that and acquired NextWave Wireless for a relatively small $25 million. This is a great acquisition considering NextWave holds several licenses for both the AWS spectrum and WCS spectrum, which AT&T can further use to access greater network capacity for their 4G LTE network. So far the only road block from AT&T being able to start using the WCS spectrum is the pending deal they have with Sirius XM which the FCC has yet to approve. On (IT news)
