I'm trying to get some foreknowledge for when the day comes so I can avoid this. I'm currently using a Bell Motorola Atrix running 2.3.4 gingerbread. I absolutely do not want the latest 2.3.6 on this phone. My question is, when I perform a factory reset, how do I avoid it installing 2.3.6 automatically OTA? Remove the simcard maybe? I'm not sure.
I unlocked the bootloader on my atrix and rooted it but now I wanna sell it to someone, so can I just factory reset it from the settings or not? Btw I have clockwork mod recovery on it, If that matters.
Hey..im a noob at this and just want to know if the international atrix version, i live in south africa, if its bootloader is unlocked or not and how to check if it is? and how to unlock Also does these roms work 0n the Intl version and not just the US one?..any help? thanks in advanc:confused:e
Hey guys, there are lots of threads out there which have motorola atrix bootloader unlock guides, but it is starting to get very confusing bc some instructions don't apply to some phones: I am a noob so can someone plz explain to me how to unlock my atrix bootloader and what are the prerequistes....
I have the AT&T Galaxy S3 on 4.1.2 and want to root for the first time. I've looked around and have seen that chainfire would be a good way for a beginner like me to use. I was going to do it, but then I read something that said the Bootloader had to be unlocked. I don't know what a bootloader is and if mine is unlocked.
I forget if this is against forum rules or not, so just delete my post if it is. I'm selling my Atrix 4g USA/ATT. It's the first Atrix that was ever unlocked. Maybe that is worth something to someone who runs a cellphone museum, or just wants to brag. I know its an older phone by now but there is a sentimental attachment to it.
