Overclocking utility for ATI video cards (read more)
Hey everyone! :)
I have an ASUS P5P800 motherboard on my system. Recently, when I boot up it tells me that there's been an overclocking failure. I haven't done any overclocking on the system, never attempted any overclocking, or anything of the sort. Could anyone help me figure out what's going on here?
So I'm not saying that this will make your phone not "randomly" reboot or anything...
But, I've noticed that ever since Req's OC Kernel was released that people think that Setting MIN/MAX to 900 or 850 is the proper way to overclock, and since everyone's phone is different, you need to play with settings, and governors.
An utility which bothers you at certain intervals. (read more)
Hi everyone!!
I was hoping you guys could help me with overclocking my galaxy SI9000.
It's rooted and running Cyanogenmod 10.1 nightly.
So...what's the best OC app you guys can recommend me?
And how should I approach it? I've had my fair share with PC overclocking and I'm fully aware of the risks, this is why I'm looking for advise from you guys :D
Thank's :D
Hi,
Seeing how well all the modifications to my phone are doing, I would like to start experimenting with overclocking a bit.
I have FroyoPro v2.5 installed, which is based on FroyoBread, so I would guess that overclocking on FroyoBread would have more or less the same effects as on FroyoPro. I'm on stock kernel, so overclocking would have to be done via modules.
I am running CM 10.1. I had previously run a GB ROM that had resident overclocking. I have no idea what Kernel it was. Since my CM 10.1 is a battery destroyer right now, and I never have a charger or extra battery more than 10 feet from me, I thought I'd overclock to see if it made a difference. However, the experimental CM 10.1 ROM and Kernel that comes with it doesn't support overclocking.
Well I have been looking around on my own, but really I can't make heads or tails out of any of the various Overclocking apps. I am looking for what the best overclocking app (in your personal opinion/experience is).
I've been trying to get my S3 to overclock to 1809mhz but it seems that I can't get it past 1350. I've tried multiple kernels and overclocking apps but nothing that I try gets it to go past 1350mhz. At the moment I have LeanKernel v1.0 with Galaxy Mod rls8 and I've seen people with this rom/kernel combination overclocking no problems.
