I have been having lots of trouble getting my system up and running after I installed a Radeon HD 5850 on my suse machine.

Hi,
I've just installed 11.2 over 10.3 (I kept my old /home). Any displaying is now very slow (both in Gnome & Xfce): e.g. if I bring up a hidden window to front, it takes up to several seconds for its content to show. Even scrolling text in a terminal is darn slow, and Xorg jumps to ~100% cpu usage then.
I am struggling against the black screen in my laptop (pavilion dv7 4177nr)
during four days without good results.
Iam following the recomendations of unoficial wikipeda
http://www2.cchtml.com/
about install fglrx, or, at least leave my screen OK with free drivers OpenGL
But I suposse that I have a broken pkg o something strange,
My information is in these pastebins:

Dear all,
İ'm using a HP Pavilion G6. Graphic card is HD6470M and switchable with HD4200. I have installed the proprietary driver in additional drivers. But graphic effects are very slow.
I also tried install up to date driver from ATI/AMD website but after restart system is not starting. Even if system starts don't work properly. So i removed the driver.
Now i am using the proprietary driver.
