This is my first Android, the Micromax A 87 Ninja 4, and I have problems with it already! Its just a day since I've bought it.
It doesn't connect to my wifi network. I have both my desktop and laptop connected to the same network, so it isn't a network problem.
When I switch on wifi and key in the password (once), it says connecting and then disconnects. I do not know what the problem is!
:(
Last week my PCI card, which had always been a bit odd about connecting, (didn't like a \ in the password), stopped connecting at all. It sits there handshaking for 30 seconds and throws up the password requester again. If I turn off encryption it doesn't connect either. This lists as Atheros AR2413 802.11bg NIC.
Yesterday's effort. Bought a new wifi dongle with known Linux support.
Hello Everyone,
i am having a very troubling problem with my Atheros AR5212 wireless card. The issue is that since ubuntu 12.04 (any derivative) I cannot connect to my router. As network manager asks for my password, I paste it from leafpad, the icon indicates that it is connecting but then it won't.
help! I can't connect to wifi after logging in to WIfi Hotspot. after connecting to pc/laptop, the error message pops out "The network may no longer be in range". my phone is just 1 inch away from my laptop and I just install the HTC Sync. please help!!!I also installed Foxfi and wifi hotspot - wifi theter.
I upgraded recently to ubuntu 12.04 from 11.10, and since then I haven't been able to connect to Internet, neither using wifi, nor using ethernet.
I've been reading many posts, but not finding a solution in any.
My laptop is a 64-bit HP-G61, my wifi card a Atheros AR9285 and my ethernet card a Realtek RTL 8101E/RTL8102E.
Just moved from Mandriva 2010.1 to Ubuntu 10.10 and am having problems with the wifi. It connects fine, but tends to grind to a halt every now and then. I always have this problem with Ubuntu... hence me migrating to Mandriva in the past. My card uses the Atheros AR5007G Wifi chipset.
I'd quite like to get this fixed. So, using ndiswrapper, I installed the windows drivers.
I'm running 12.04, and had no problems with WiFi until I installed updates last night (there were quite a few, and I'm not sure how to see what was installed). It might be unrelated, but it's the only thing that's changed.
I can no longer connect to my home WiFi network.
I've installed Ubuntu 12.04 on a Dell Optiplex 210L. The tower has no wifi card and because of my living situation (landlord provides internet, but router is located in his apartment) I have to connect to the internet via wifi. I got a Netgear WNA3100 wireless USB adapter, v1. I installed ndiswrapper 1.57 and the Broadcom bcm43xx USB 32 bit v2.
Hi everyone im new too crunchbang, and I've been strugling to get internet via wifi.First I go into "edit connection" and I create a new wifi connection.
