Earlier today, ASUS revealed their latest PadFone device, the ASUS PadFone Infinity, and now they released a promo video.showcasing it’s attributes. The promo makes note of all the features of the PadFone including the 5-inch full HD display of the phone as well as the 10.1-inch tablet dock.
Back at MWC this year Asus debuted its PadFone tablet/phone combination with much fanfare. In April pre-orders were available in Taiwan with hopes that the U.S. would soon be able to do the same. Well sadly as is with most technologies the device was delayed with the S4 processor shortage being the possible culprit as to why.
We’ve already received our invitation from ASUS to attend its October 16th event where it’s expected that the company will finally unveil the successor to this year’s wildly versatile Padfone.
Earlier today we saw ASUS release a new promo video for one of their new devices from Mobile World Congress 2013, the ASUS Padfone Infinity. Following on the heels of the Padfone Infinity video, ASUS has released a couple new videos showcasing their new 7-inch tablet, the ASUS Fonepad.
For a device not being available quite yet, the ASUS Padfone has gotten quite a bit of buzz lately. We recently watched as it received it’s first publicly aired unboxing video, then we were shown some real-life battery test results.
Earlier today, images leaked of ASUS’ upcoming Padfone 2, revealing the company’s second iteration of its half-phone, half-tablet hybrid. Shortly following the leak, a hands-on video emerged, unearthing the elusive device in all its glory.
The Padfone 2 will sport a a larger 4.7-inch HD display and a much improved 13-megapixel rear camera.
I am not sure if you remember the ASUS Padfone, but it has been ‘in the making’ for an awful long time now. Initially announced over a year ago, we got a quick glimpse at the new revamped version of the kit at this year’s CTIA conference in Las Vegas and then again at MWC in Barcelona.
The ASUS Padfone, that weird phone/tablet hybrid device, was supposed to launch in Taiwan at the end of April, and in Italy sometime in May. But now, according to a tweet by ASUS Indonesia, it seems that the launch may be delayed due to a shortage of Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processors.
ASUS just introduced a low priced ($149) Jelly Bean tablet, the MeMo Pad 7. And now a German tech site, TechHive, has uncovered a YouTube video showing a pretty snappy 10-inch version. The video refers to the tablet as the ASUS MeMo Pad 10 Smart. It doesn’t show much in terms of specs but it seems to be running a skinned version of Jelly Bean.
