ASUS Announces 10", 12" Slate Devices at Computex

A pair of 10 inch and 12 inch Windows-powered tablets take the stage at Taiwan’s Computex 2010 techfest, along with a concept digital notetaker/ereader.

A couple days ago ASUS aired a teaser video for an announcements they plan to make at this year’s Computex. Simply calling it their “Next Transformations,” the original teaser video showed us an outline of what appeared to be a new entry in their line of Transformer Tab tablets and keyboard docks.

Toshiba’s tablet strategy puts a bet each way, with a low-price 10 inch slate running Android and a premium dual-screen (!) slate for Windows.

The Asus slate will partner Nvidia’s Tegra processor with an enhanced Android OS and will make its debut at Taiwan’s Computex 2010 trade show in June.

The two Taiwan tigers both have plans to debut new devices running Google’s open-source Chrome OS at next month’s Computex 2010 trade show in Taipei.
