Hello, I'm considering buying an Asus eee pc 1005HA-H.
I would like to if things like Wireless, Blue tooth, Hot keys, Web cam will work out of the box, and if not what configuration steps are necessary.
I have an Asus 1005HA-V netbook running Jaunty with XFCE4. I didn't know until just a moment ago that when I switched from Gnome to XFCE, I somehow lost sound and volume control. I don't know if the driver got deleted, and I don't know how to check. Any ideas are welcome, thanks.
Does anyone know where I can find a recipe for installing Fedora 20/KDE 32-bit (or any other 32-bit current distro) on an Asus 1005HA EeePC? On LiveCD load, everything runs great, but my install is crashing a second after I hit the big 'install to hard disk' button.

I have a Asus EEEpc 1005HA and I've successfully installed ubuntu and xubuntu, but since i upgraded xubuntu to 12.10 version it stopped booting, i got to Grub, but after i only get a black screen with a flickering line in the top left and nothing happens. I've been searching the INTERNET all around since and it would seem to be a graphic card problem.At the time (last year) i couldn't fix this.
I have an ASUS EEE 1005ha that originally came with Win XP. I installed a Ubuntu OS with GRUB for dual booting. I needed to factory restore the Windows XP from the recovery partition which I was able to access from the GRUB menu as sda3. It ran the Norton Ghost procedure then rebooted.
