Just last month ASUS announced the 7-inch MeMO Pad, which isn’t a bad little device for $149. What’s so special about it? Well other than the price, not too much. It will feature a 7-inch (1024 x 600) display, 1GHz CPU, Mali-400 GPU, 1GB of RAM, 8 or 16GB of storage, microSD slot, 1MP front camera, and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
ASUS seems intent on dominating the budget-tablet market by introducing yet another tablet called the MeMO Pad. This 7-inch tablet features a 1,024 x 600 display, a VIA WM8950 chip clocked at 1GHz plus a Mali-400 GPU, is available in 8GB or 16GB configurations (plus a microSD card slot) and has Jelly Bean running the show.
Earlier today, ASUS revealed their latest PadFone device, the ASUS PadFone Infinity, and now they released a promo video.showcasing it’s attributes. The promo makes note of all the features of the PadFone including the 5-inch full HD display of the phone as well as the 10.1-inch tablet dock.
I’m not sure if you remember the cool 7-inch ASUS tablet we got to check out at this years CES, the MeMO 171. This little device stuck out in my mind after leaving the show for one reason, it’s ability to use a the bundled Bluetooth MeMIC to make and receive phone calls through the tablet.
Everybody is jumping into the phablet market so why not ZTE. The ZTE Grand Memo was supposed to get unveiled at next month’s Mobile World Congress, but it made a surprise appearance in Hong Kong. The Grand Memo (V9815) will feature a 5.7-inch 720p display, a 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro, microSD slot, a 13MP camera, and Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean.
As we previously reported earlier today, the official Jelly Bean update for Motorola’s DROID RAZR M has now been released. With the update, Motorola has released 5 videos that showcase the all new features of Jelly Bean for your RAZR M.
At this week's Computex conference in Taipei, Asus unveiled an Android-based hybrid tablet/smartphone device called the Padfone, embedding a removable smartphone in a 10.1-inch tablet. The company also announced a more conventional seven-inch tablet called the Eee Pad Memo 3D, with Android 3.x, a stylus, and glasses-free 3D video playback....
ASUS said today that the Transformer Pad, Transformer Prime and Infinity will be the lucky tablet winners to get Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. That’s it so far. ASUS says they’re still deciding on other devices though. The other day they said on their German Facebook page that the Eee Pad Slider and Transformer would be getting Jelly Bean too. Does that mean it’s not final?
We’ve been following the progress of ASUS’ hotly anticipated tablet and phone package for the best part of a year and earlier today our patience was finally rewarded with a formal announcement. It seems that ASUS is in a giving mood today as it has also released a preview of the advert promoting the hot new tech to further whet our appetites.
