The current Asterisk AUR PKGBUILD is up-to-date for the latest version of Asterisk (Asterisk-12), but the FreePBX AUR PKGBUILD is out of date. Recently, FreePBX released (beta) their long anticipated version FreePBX-12 that is compatible with Asterisk-12. I also have FreePBX / Asterisk running on Debian, but I would love to see an ArchLinux version of FreePBX to go with the PKBBUILD fo
when I issue an '/etc/init.d/asterisk start' or 'service asterisk start' command, nothing happens, except for the single process 'astcanary /var/run/asterisk/alt.asterisk.canary.tweet.tweet.tweet 21756' briefly visible in the 'ps ax' output.
I checked /var/log/messages, syslog, daemon.log, asterisk/messages - there is nothing whatsoever.

I'm a noob to asterisk/freepbx. I recently built a raspbx system on a 256MB R-Pi (Asterisk 11 w/freepbx. I installed an OBI-110 to put an analog pots line as a trunk. And then installed a Grandstream DP715 as a sip extension... All works as it should.
I would love to have a current version of FreePBX running.I've installed Arch to run our ARM based system. FreePBX would make it so much easier to set up Asterisk for me. I'm sure there are tons of others out there.
I have been playing around with the /etc/asterisk directory, installing the related pacakge (asterisk-config), removing it, removing the directory manually (just playing around to get the configuration synced to my configuration repo).
