Is there a way to set up a linux based, preferably ubuntu, SSTP server?
I know there is a SSTP client available on sourceforge, but I can't find a server.
To be clear: I do NOT want openVPN, I want SSTP
Imagine you have bought an SSTP VPN service from IAPS Security Store.
Can you replace the GoDaddy-countersigned certificate of this sstp with VeriSign SSL certificate that is available on Symantec store (Symantec Secure Site Pro with EV SSL Certificates) just by importing the new one into the existing (IAPS) SSTP connection while you're still connecting to IAPS servers?
I compiled sstp-client(sstp-client.sourceforge.net/).And connect to a sstp server,
i think connect success, but my IP is the same as before. Why?Should I add route??
Thanks!!
First i use sudo pon dsl-provider to connect internet.
then
sudo plog

the question is simple: how to set up an sstp vpn connection in ubuntu 11.10?
as of this moment I haven't been able to find a way to make an sstp vpn connection.
I'm successfully authenticating and connecting to a SSTP VPN (on windows 2008) from my windows 7 machine, but for some reason, the connection is disconnected about a 1-2 seconds after it's established.
I've done the following:
Defined a SSTP VPN on my windows server 2008.
Defined the same machine as CA.
Issued the needed certificates and published them on the client.
I'm currently testing this
hi to All Good day! Please help me regarding installation of sstp vpn client on centos linux. Thanks your help very much appreciated.
My resolve.conf is like this:nameserver 127.0.0.1 # dnsmasqnameserver 127.0.0.2 # dnscryptI have dnscrypt running on 127.0.0.2, but I don't know how to check if this is working. What I want to do is query dnsmasq, and if the website isn't in the cache, then to query dnscrypt. dnsmasq is clearly working, I've used dig to test it and the query time has gone done significantly.
First time posting on the forum so I apologize if I leave out anything. I recently installed dnscrypt for Fedora and it is working fine. But I have to start it with the /usr/sbin/dnscrypt-proxy daemonize command. I would ike to automate this. If I enter it in the terminal everything runs fine. However if I create a rc.local file that looks like this my boot process locks up on the fedora logo.
I have to use an OpenVPN network to work from home, and I occasionally have problems getting DNS to resolve.
