Well, the issue is not on Ubuntu, PCLinuxOS, or Unity Linux (which are the other three I've either tried personally or researched) and the question doesn't seem to get asked often outside of Arch's Forums... Those are my primary reasons for believing that this is likely Arch-Specific...

Thank you for finding that information. I probably didn't look all that hard. It's nearly 2am where I am and I tend to not be all that focused after 11pm most days. I will label this a cancelled request unless I actually end up needing this driver (or an updated version of such)...
