I have seen some references that tumblerd which thunar is apparently using can create thumbnails from embedded exif thumbnails in jpeg files. However, this does not seem to work for me, it seems it is reading the complete huge image files to create thumbnails.
I'm trying to get the profile images of my followers for use within a ListView as thumbnails.
These thumbnails are around 125x125, but the standard twitter4j call of User.getProfileImageURL(); returns much smaller size of 48x48 and is also recommended to not be used as the image source.
I've noticed this bug for a while now. It doesn't matter the site the image is but the forum can't handle a thumbnail image that redirects to a url of the big image.

Edit- and another bug is that the code box above displayed the image instead of the code.
I've only just noticed this as I don't use it often. When I right click on an image in Firefox, as if to save the image, the option isn't there. As an example, with previous versions. I could do a Google image search and simply right click on any thumbnail and select Save Image as or View Image. These options are now no longer there.
Any ideas?
I use Nautilus and PCManFM but I need more functionality, maybe you know other file manager which have these functionality:
sort files with grouping by name, type, etc - and possibility to mix all of them
thumbnails size regulation by mouse like in MS Windows, because its faster than changing size in settings
thumbnails of PSD files
in status bar possibility to show image resolution, not only f
Is there a way to restore the video browser from stock ROM? I'm now running CM10 nightly (12/13/2012) and it's no longer there. It had an icon "videos" before and when you opened it, it showed thumbnails of all videos on your device. I preferred this because my kids used it to browse movies I saved on my tab2.
Happy May!----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Please continue to use thumbnails (please try to avoid the large thumbnail imgur.com code) linking to the larger image to help those of us with slow connections. An example of the code needed is below.
I have two doubts related to creating backup. I have not done this before so trying to learn. Suppose I use a live CD to create backup. In my computer there is only one CD/DVD slot. Now in order to create back-up, I need to insert the live CD in the drive and reboot. Then the program creates an image. The question is where is this saved so that I can copy later in a DVD for example?
Somehow the thumbnails of a bunch of JPEG images shown in the file manager got mixed up and now the images shown as thumbnails do not correspond to the actual image in that file.
I get the same problem with gThumb where the thumbnail shown in the bottom row isn't of the picture in the file shown in the main panel.
I'm on Xubuntu 12.04.
