It’s been some four months since I’m not using my favorite Distro (Arch Linux), I’m now using Debian.
All started because I’ve made some changes to my Arch Linux computer, and it stopped working, I needed something to work, and because the installation process of Arch Linux is not that easy or at least not that fast, I decided to go with Debian.
When people want to try Linux, it is very likely that their first distro is either Ubuntu, Mint or Zorin. But after using Linux for a while, most users will know about and want to try Arch Linux, a lightweight, flexible and highly customizable distro. You will gain a lot of benefits from trying and using Arch Linux.
I am attempting to install arch in a virtual box, I keep getting the message /mnt is not a mountable point. paraphrase of course, been an hour sense I gave up for the night. I might have missed a command, so if possible link me to a easy installation guide, I keep messing up or something with the ones on the Arch wiki.

for the Photon 4G
About:Hey everybody! I've had my Photon for almost a year now, and absolutely love it. However, I have flashed the poor little thing to death, never quite happy with any particular ROMs. I've been using Arch Linux on my computer for a while now, and it's quickly become my favorite Linux distro.
I'm at a complete loss here. I've been using Linux as my main OS since 2005 and Arch since 2009. (Sometimes Arch still makes me feel like a newbie. This is one of those times.) I have Arch running on multiple PCs. I had grub 0.97 on them all.
Hello Arch Linux community,After usage of Ubuntu, I decided to move to Arch Linux because of its highly-customizable and flexible operating system. To learn first the installation process, I created a virtual OS in Oracle VM VirtualBox. The installation went well till I encountered the network configuration step.
Hello there I am new to Linux i have started using Ubuntu recently and I have also heard about Arch Linux. Can anyone please guide me? How good it is as a distro? What are its pros and cons?
My major concern is about hardware drivers as I like to buy the latest laptops on the market, right now I am waiting for the new Lenovo ThinkPad X130e.
So I finally did it -- my first Arch install. No I didn't abandon Ubuntu -- far from it -- I just wanted to see how the other side lives in a "more advanced distro". Here are my general impressions for any one else considering a similar experiment
Arch -- it can be complicated. I've used Ubuntu for a long time - 5 or more years and really like the command line.
