http://forum.xda-developers.com – This is my second Android app. I develop this little app because I prefer 3rd party launcher (e.g. Apex) than existing Sense 4 Rosie. Existing hacked Sense 4 Rosie (full version) currently doesn't support non Sense widget correctly and is less feature-rich than many other launchers. Even if you install a 3rd party launcher, Rosie still consume your precious memory as a system service. But if you freeze Rosie and thus release it from memory, you'll lose your lockscreen app shortcuts. After painstakingly reviewing the codes in HTC shortcut components, I found that Rosie actually act as a cont (HowTos)

[Q] Decompiling JB Rosie 10 weeks 5 days ago

So I asked this question a long while ago, never got an answer, so I am trying again. I am interested in creating a 4x5 Rosie for JB Sense with mikeyxda's tut. I had done so previously for ICS Rosie, but can't seem to get anything going with JB Rosie.

I am trying to decompile and recompile Rosie, but I can not figure out why the new Rosie keeps force closing. Even if I don’t make any changes, it will still force close.

I am using ApkTool 1.4.9. I do not get any errors when decompiling or recompiling.

When I decompile, I choose option 10 in Apk Manager to decompile with dependencies (using com.htc.resources.apk).

Does anyone know if it's possible to add the persistent Google Search bar to the top of every screen in the Rosie launcher? I like this feature from AOSP based ROMs as well as 3rd party launchers, as it doesn't take up screen real estate for widgets/apps.

Hey guys, im running the viperxl latest 3.2.8 and in the aroma installer i choose to completely remove sense because it saves a lot of RAM. Before without running any apps the ram would be about 850mb/1GB Free. After de-sensing the rom i get 600/1gb free. Im using NOVA Launcher to replace the sense dock. Everything is perfect except for not having any shortcuts on lockscreen.

While we are waiting for Apple and HTC to hash out their differences regarding the Import delays for the possible Apple patent violations made by HTC, some folks have found a fix for a possible device annoyance.
