PowerInbox, an email platform company which offers interactive email apps for consumers and marketers, has raised a $10 million Series A round jointly led by Atlas Venture, Longworth Partners and Battery Ventures, following the company’s merger with NYC-based ActivePath, which offers a similar interactive email solution.

Video management startup Kaltura is growing fast, but it’s looking to expand even more, and has raised even more money to do so. The company has closed a $25 million Series D round of funding, which includes money from new investors Mitsui Global Investment and Orix Ventures.
Glow Digital Media, a social advertising technology platform that sells services to Facebook advertisers to grow their marketing ROI, has closed a $1.3 million seed funding round. Investors in the round include Project A Ventures and Avonmore Developments.
The U.K. startup, founded back in 2009, said it has used the funding to expand into the U.S.
The Toronto-based online advertising and marketing company Chango just announced that it has raised $12 million. All of the participants in Chango’s last funding round also participated in this one, including iNovia, Rho Canada Ventures, Metamorphic Ventures, Mantella Venture Partners and Extreme Venture Partners.
SocialFlow, the makers of social marketing optimization technology that helps brands determine when to post their messages to social media sites like Facebook and Twitter, as well as which messages they should promote, has today closed on $10 million in Series B funding.
Centzy, a local search startup which is putting prices, store hours, ratings and specials for convenience-oriented businesses online, is today announcing $1.6 million in seed funding from Cowboy Ventures, Founder Collective, Lightbank, ff Venture Capital, and strategic angels found on AngelList.
The company had previously raised $825,000 in funding from previous investors ff Venture, Lightbank and
Duolingo, the language learning and crowd-sourced translation service founded by reCAPTCHA founder and Carnegie Mellon professor Luis von Ahn, just announced that it has raised a $15 million Series B round led by NEA, with participation from Union Square Ventures. The service never took any angel funding, but it raised a $3.3 million Series A round lead by Union Square Ventures last October.
San Francisco-based gaming and ad platform Chartboost has raised $19 million in new funding, in a round led by Sequoia Capital, with participation from existing investors TransLink Capital and SK Telecom Ventures. With the new funding, Sequoia’s Jim Goetz, who previously sat on Admob’s board, is joining Chartboot’s board.

EAT Club, a Palo Alto-based food delivery service launched in fall 2010, has raised $5 million in Series A funding in a round led by August Capital.
