Hello all.
I'm a big fan of Coolreader but lately every epub I get from a less then savior source (demenoid.com) give me a null error.
Well not even an error the file just shows up with a null below the title. It just shows me the front in CR but it seems there is only 1 page. Yet if I try another reader it does show them all...
I have an Android tablet and a iPhone. Is there any setup that would allow me to sync my reading position between these two devices?
I read mainly ePubs and have setup my own OPDS catalog. OPDS support isn't necessary (but it would be nice) as long as I could get the ePubs on the devices somehow.
Is there any reason Readers Hub imports most of my epubs, but not quite a few others?
The status bar scrolls as if it is importing the files, but then once it reaches the end it produces the error message "Something went wrong and we could not import all of your items.
Hello,
Please excuse my ignorance, brand new to this world of ereader/tablets!
Just recently bought my daughter this tablet: Double Power (DOPO) - MD-702 - 7 inch Capacitive Screen Android 2.3 Tablet.
Great little tablet, works great! She loves it! The only thing we can't figure out is how to highlight text, or if its even possible.
I know it has the Kindle Reader installed.
CoolReader is fast and small cross-platform XML/CSS based E-Book reader for desktops and handheld devices. Supported formats: FB2, TXT, RTF, DOC, TCR, HTML, EPUB, CHM, PDB, MOBI. Platforms: Win32, Linux, Android.
For my money Calibre is one of the most indispensible pieces of software in GNU/Linux. It can handle all your e-books in all the major formats, including PDF, EPUB and Mobi.
"Epub is an opened ebook format, it's so popular that almost all ereaders support epub
format except kindle devices, kindle format is special for that Kindle have thier native format Mobi/AZW. But readers may purchase ebooks in other bookstores like Google Bookstore or Nook,to expand their reading fun.
Has anyone *successfully* been able to get ePub DRM books to sync across multiple Android devices? I have a phone and tablet, and I'm able to check out Kindle and ePub books from my library. I've been using Overdrive for the ePub books and read on my phone during the day and my tablet at night, but I still can not find any combination of eReader and cloud device to sync.
hello all
i had created a fixed layout epub for ipad, iphone and ipod touch and it works well on all three devices but when i had synced it in android (using ibooks, kindle and in nook) found that it had distorted completely(with the back ground image on the one side of the page and text on another page)
Any help would be appreciated
thank you
