The Seoul Central District Court in Korea has ruled that Samsung and Apple violated each other’s patents. The end result is that both companies are banned from selling the infringed devices in South Korea including the iPhone 4, iPad 2, the Samsung Galaxy S2, Galaxy Nexus, Galaxy Tab and Galaxy Tab 10.1.

  The verdict is officially in folks— Apple has officially claimed victory over Samsung. Based off extensive review and hours of deliberation, the jury believes Samsung not only violated numerous Apple patents, but also Apple has not infringed on any of Samsung’s patents.

The U.S. judge in the Apple vs Samsung court battle that’s being played out in the district court of Northern California has denied Apple’s request for a permanent injunction on Samsung devices, Reuters is reporting.

Apple and Samsung are at legal loggerheads in at least 10 countries around the world. In one court case, in Korea’s Seoul Central District Court, where Samsung has brought a patent infringement case against Apple’s mobile operating system, Samsung is putting pressure on Apple to show it the iOS 6 source code, according to The Korea Times.

Judge Lucy Koh has set the date for the Samsung vs. Apple hearing in which Apple wants 8 Samsung smartphones to be banned in the US. On December 6th both Samsung and Apple will be at it again in court, and as usual, Samsung will be defending themselves as Apple seeks to block sales of several of the Korean maker’s top selling US handsets.

An appeals court in the U.K. has issued a ruling in one of the many Apple v. Samsung cases from around the world. This particular appeal involved a case where Apple had alleged Samsung copied the design of the iPad with their Samsung Galaxy Tab device. Apple had originally lost the lawsuit after a U.K. judge found the Samsung designs were not as simplistic as Apple’s.

While Samsung may have suffered a massive blow in its lawsuit against Apple, the Korean-based manufacturer isn’t giving in anytime soon.
