Vulnerabilities in Apple’s iOS lock screens have become a fixture of new iOS releases over the past few years, and iOS 7 is not exempt. A new method for bypassing the passcode on a lock screen has been discovered by idle hands and reported by Forbes’ Andy Greenberg.
For those who preferred no lock screen on the HTC One Mini, that option was removed with the Kit Kat update. However, the app No Lock by BoD is a simple, highly rated (4.3) app that restores the ability to eliminate the lock screen. Many HTC One users have rated it 5, and I just put it on my wife's Mini, works as described. I also have it on my HTC One (M7).
First of all, please excuse me if I am doing this wrong. I have been using ubuntu 12.04 for a while now. A week or so ago, the lock portion of teh brightness and lock feature stopped working. I think maybe shortly after the update that week.
After the new 4.4.2 update the option to change the wallpaper for your lock screen has seemingly disappeared, leaving the lock screen wallpaper to just be that of your regular home screen wallpaper. Is there any way to re-enable this? I liked having a different picture for the lock screen, and I would like to have it back.
Hello everyone, I hope you can help me with this issue. I've had my S3 for over a year and I have the lock screen configured to use the pattern lock screen. Lately I noticed that the default lock screen (with Clock and lock at the bottom of the screen) appears and after swiping the lock, the pattern lock screen appears. Does anyone know how can I disable the default lock screen??
Updated two days ago. Still JB 4.1.2, but the update changed the lock screen behavior. The Samsung rippling water effect is now just a lock and swiping moves the lock to the outer ring to unlock. Any idea(s) why this changed and if I can restore the water effect. Thanks.
