Apple bans apps written using Adobe software

Apple has introduced a new clause to its iPhone developer licence that restricts the languages that can be used to write apps. Adobe isn't mentioned, but it is the apparent target of the change.

With Apple's banning Adobe Flash based content on all of its mobile devices, Adobe announced that it has now officially given up on Apple.

Responding to Adobe's criticism that Apple wants to "restrict" iPhone OS developers, Apple has replied, essentially, "Nuh uh, you're the closed one."
