Runtastic just got pretty cool with it’s latest update. First of all if you aren’t familiar with Runtastic, it uses GPS to map your fitness activities like running, biking, and walking. It tracks your progress with things like distance, speed, calories, and more. It’s a lot like Google’s My Tracks.
Remember Google’s open sourced app called “My Tracks?” If you do not, we don’t blame you as the app hasn’t received an update in over a year!
Having troible with my Motorola RAZR MAXX. All of my GPS related apps don't work right and freeze intermittently - Google Navigation and All Sport GPS to name two in particular. I get a lock in most apps in 3-5 seconds. However, the app doesn't seem to maintain my location.
There is a bike path I ride that I track with AllSport GPS.
You might be thinking, doesn’t Google Play Music already stream my own music back to me? Yes it does but now it does it in a way that has a few hidden bonuses. Not only does matching the music in your collection with music in Google’s library mean all of your music will be played back at 320 kbps, it also eliminates the need for the long upload process.
Why am I not even surprised? With the debacle that went down this past Tuesday on Google’s Nexus 4 launch, I kind of expected them to have trouble fulfilling the influx of orders for the device. I was just hoping I wouldn’t be one of them. Sadly, I was and the Google Play Store has sent me an e-mail regarding my Nexus 4′s order status.
Last month we saw Google release an ad that aired during the Grammys to show off Google Now and how it can be used in real life. While the last ad took us around the world for visits with several people, this latest ad takes place in one location and focuses on a father and daughter.
Curious if anyone else has had an issue like mine and if you were able to resolve it.
Some of the music I have uploaded displays differently on my phone than it does on my PCs and tablet (Asus Transformer Pad TF300T, Android 4.0.3). As an example, my PCs and tablet show 16 albums and 102 tracks for AC/DC, which is correct. However, my phone shows 21 albums and 115 tracks.
There are bugs, and there are pretty embarrassing and ridiculous mess-ups. This one was is a screwup straight from Mountain View, and it’s a very real problem.
One of the pieces of functionality that Google+ provides is the ability to share your location with your circles. It’s pretty handy when you’re using Google+ from a mobile device.
