[APP][2.2+] Testing Firefox/Fennec ARMv6 Stability and Performance

http://forum.xda-developers.com – Mozilla has been testing Firefox for Android on ARMv6 devices. We have had builds available for some time now, but we know that Firefox does not run optimally on all devices. Initially, we are limiting Firefox for Android to devices with 800MHz CPUs and 512MB of RAM. The Mozilla Foundation has released an early test version of Fennec, the mobile Firefox browser. Fennec, the mobile version of the Firefox web browser is now in testing for Android devices. The Mozilla Foundation, which controls the Firefox browser, has released a "pre-alpha" version of Fennec for Google's operating system.

A couple of days back, we reported that Firefox 5.0 was available ahead of its scheduled release date in Mozilla’s FTP server. Well, today it has landed in the firefox-next PPA that Mozilla maintains for early adopters.

Twitter has announced that Twitter for Firefox OS will be available in the Firefox Marketplace when devices powered by Mozilla’s new operating system start to ship.
