So majority of my friends have iphones and are always group texting and include me in the group texting as well. Now when they send texts to one another with their iphones the messages all get displayed in one box of messages in comparison to me getting multiple texts from everyone in the group chat and it gets confusing whose talking to who lol.
When I look at conversation mode I see an avatar/silhouette where a picture I suppose a picture of the person I am texting is suppose to be, however of my 100+ contacts none have pics. I care nothing about seeing this silhouette... is there a way to remove it? It is annoyingly in the way and taking up space. It's not like I don't know who I am texting...
Will the Galaxy S4's texting app have the functionality of threaded group messaging, such as in iphone, or will you need to download another texting app.
In 4.2 stock android, the texting app does have group messaging functionality, so will that carry over?
So I had my Admire rooted, deleted and backed up all of the bloatware and then I also deleted and backed up some of principal apps including the texting app. So then my dad took the phone and before I could restore the texting app and the other bloatware he factory reset it from the phone. Now the phone doesn't have texting on it and I need to know how to get that back.
From time to time I receive a text message on my cell phone. Some require a response. There are many people who are quite proficient entering text messages on their cell phone keypad. I am not one of them. I have yet to compose a message without error and damned if I can figure out how to erase. Oh well, with either my Touch or iPad nearby, texting is a simple affair.
Is there any chance the native SMS/MMS app will ever get fixed to do group texting. I know there are apps like GoSMS and handcent but I would prefer to use the native Android app.

Just hoping someone has some news on this Android issue.
Today Facebook is introducing texting support for its Messenger application for Android. A thorough redesign has transformed the old, tired inbox into a full-fledged SMS app. As you swipe to the left, a list of available users is given, which will allow you to directly send a message over your carrier’s cellular network.

Hello, I am trying the Chomp SMS app and one feature I am interested in is group texting. Once I installed the app, I tried to send a group message and I noticed 2 things
1. when I sent the message, duplicate messages were sent to each person. For example, I sent a group message to 2 people and when I sent it 2 duplicate messages show in the conversation window.
2.
