CyanogenMod (CM) and the Android Open Kang Project (AOKP) are the two most feature filled ROM’s that you can find in the custom ROM world. With CM10 Nightlies having been released just a couple of days ago, it was only natural for the AOKP team to follow suit and release their first official build of Jelly Bean AOKP.
Earlier this week Jelly Bean had begun appearing on Nexus S devices in Pakistan. Today on the Nexus Google+ account, they announced that Jelly Bean is currently being released to customers on at least five different carriers around the world, presumably, this includes the unlocked GSM models too.
Hi,
Since i have my Nexus i use AOKP rom and i'm very happy with it.
However Jelly Bean is released months ago and it seems AOKP is a little laggy to release its official build of JB ; there is only one beta build but is not a stable release.
I'm tired to wait more and i would like to know if someone can point me to a good JB ROM that has at least the main features of AOKP like change the
I live in Japan and own a Samsung Galaxy Nexus. I'm running on the Docomo network.

The AOKP team has just released the third build for its highly popular aftermarket firmware. Based on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, the software features some incredibly powerful additions not found in AOSP. Currently builds are available for some of the most popular devices, including the Crespo4G, i9100, i9100g, i9300, and Toroplus.
The HTC One X has gotten itself an SDK port of Google’s Jelly Bean firmware thanks to the XDA developer by the name of tgascoigne. At this point it’s nothing you can use as a daily driver, but serves as a great way to get yourself a nibble of Jelly Bean if you’re a One X user. Many things don’t work such as the camera, WiFi, audio, and much more.
Are you currently on a Jelly Bean ROM? I am using the Team Baked Jelly Bean ROM which is an AOKP based ROM. It seems really great so far and I would recommend giving it a try. You can get it through the Goo Manager app.
As of today, Asus and Google’s smash hit tablet the Nexus 7 is no longer the only Android tablet boasting Jelly Bean. News started surfacing this morning that some lucky Transformer Pad TF300 owners have received the prompt to download the OTA update.
