Anyone else have to toggle wifi after leaving phone idle to get data to work?

http://forum.xda-developers.com – I'm so frustrated not sure what to do about it anymore. If I let me phone site idle anywhere from 10 minutes to 1+ hour. I will wake the phone it will show wifi is connected but there is no connectivity. No matter what app I go into, browser, slacker radio, play store etc. Nothing will load cause it can't connect. I have to toggle wifi widget off & back on before it will work again. The problem is intermittent as far as when it acts up but it usually does multiple times a day. It did it on stock rom, now stock with goodies 1.79 also just tried this method here but same issue. I have not u (HowTos)

I have had my phone about a year now and I had it rooted, S-OFFed and running a custom ROM within an hour of getting it. It took me a while to notice since I never use WiFi but I have had several ROMs such as CM, ViperS, HyperMIUI, Elegancia and the only issue I have had is that no matter what I could never get WiFi to work for more than an hour.

I am new to this community and don't know much about technology. I am having problem with my HTC ONE X PLUS. The phone was working really fine until yesterday. My phone is not searching the wifi connections. I tried really hard by switching the phone wifi on and off and even restarting the phone number of times. But these things didn't help. Please help me to sort this issue out.

Ever since I loaded SynergyRom my phone more often than not won't connect to Wifi without trying to force to do so one time after another. Before when I was completely stock or even after CleanRom was installed I had no issues. Matter of fact it would just connect on its own immediately when I arrived home or anywhere else where I've used WiFi.

i just sign up here coz my s2 wont connect to wifi..sure my wifi router has no problem coz i can connect my laptop to it..just woke up with no wifi on phone tried to connect its says its connected but no connection signal on the upper level screen..tried restarting it and turn my phone on and off many times..it connected and after 10 minutes its gone again..and i am getting so annoyed with it..

So I'm currently running Xenon 1.5 (4.2.1) paired with Lean Kernel 5.6, but this is an issues I've had on all 4.2.1 ROMs that I've tried. It seems as though my phone doesn't want to stay connected to WiFi even though it has a strong connection.

I had briefly used a Galaxy S3, and one of the really annoying thing that Verizon seems to have done is to remove the wifi toggle in the notification area.

I finally saw the Verizon Note2 in the store, and guess what, there's no Wifi toggle in the notification area, just like the S3. Everything else is there, mobile data, gps, bluetooth, etc.

Hello! I'm new to the Android phones and need some help. I connected my LG Optimus S to my home wifi network in order to save on data use with my carrier. I'm able to use the web with no problem if I use the browser but unable to download apps from Google Play. The downloading bar does not move or show any progress.

So I have the MOGA gaming controller and every time I use it it messes my wifi up... Once I'm finished using the controller it tells me that my wifi is not in range and it won't connect no matter what I do until I reboot my phone. Does anybody else have the same problem or know of a way to fix this?
