Hi, I'm doing Flex programming on Windows at work, and I was thinking of setting up Flex programming environment at home as well, on the latest Ubuntu. I'm following this guide.
What I want to know is where to install the Flex SDK? Where is it natural to put those kind of things on Linux?
I've had my Nexus 7 for about 3 weeks or so now. I've read about the screen lift and flickering issues with it, and I'm not sure if mine count. I get an occasional flicker (just a band, not the whole screen), and it happens in bunches and then goes away.
I'm using IntelliJ IDEA Ultimate 11.1 for linux and I installed the Flex UI Designer plugin.
But it doesn't launch. A briefly visible message says:
"AIR runtime 2.6 or later is required to launch Flex UI Designer.
Please add the Flex SDK 4.5 or later that includes required AIR runtime to the list of
available SDKs.

Last Monday (6 days ago) I got my nexus 7 16gb.
Before i received it I read a lot about the defect issues in the device first thing I did was check for screen lift there's a tiny bit but not enough to incline me to return it.
Hi...i`m a little bit confused about this screen lift....
It appears when you unbox the tablet ? or it appears after a few weeks ?
Mine seems a little , but little on left part....i mean ...the left part of screen is a little bit above than right part

I have a G2 that i bought for $50 for my wife that has an inoperable touchscreen..
I recently fixed my own G2 (with another G2 i bought for parts) which had a faulty flex cable and so i thought i'd fix my wife's with the extra parts.
The digitizer is good on the phone, I tested it by taking apart my own G2.
I tried to install flex and yacc in my Ubuntu machine.
sudo apt-get install byacc flex
But I get a big error like this :
