It is on my galaxy nexus. There is forum for that, but booth nexus and nexus 4 have same OS, i think it can be solved here.
Since I have nexus i use all stock. Therefore sms app too. And I was not able to send sms only to one number. I cane recive sms, call and receive calls, but I can't send sms. I installed Handcent sms, and now I can send sms to that number with no problems at all.
I have an HTC Evo and my wife has the Galaxy S II. We are both running Handcent 4.0. Ever since the latest update, she is unable to send texts that are longer than 160 characters, but mine send just fine. I've looked at our settings, and both look identical. Any ideas? Morgan
ok im running cm7 still ( ancient i know) and all of a sudden my i cannot receive mms messages, tried wiping caches, checked apn settings and even tried adding a new apn, fixing permissions, wiping and reinstalling rom, tried 3rd party apps both handcent and gosms pro as well as stock messaging program. I can send texts and mms fine but not receive them. PLEASE advise.
Hey there, I've been looking for a way to fix this for a few days now and im stumped.
Im using Synergy rom, juice defender ultimate and handcent. My problem is when I receive MMS messages while connected to wifi I have to manually disable wifi then re-open handcent and download the message again. Same with the stock messaging app. It seems handcent doesnt like to use wifi.
Hello, I just realized that I can't send sms. I can receive sms, but the received sms aren't saved in my phone.
The reason is that yesterday I deleted two stock applications: the sms stock application and another stock application for generally messages (I don't know what exactly was).
so ive been using handcent for three years now. but now all of i sudden after i send a text it copies the last word. its getting annoying have to erase the word every time i text again. i was messing around with the setting but idk if it was something i changed or if its because of handcent.
ok i just started using this, and love it,. i set it for my primary sms but now i get 2 notifications one from the stock and one from handcent. how do i just get it from handcent?
Hi ! I am using a Korean Galaxy S ( SHW-M110S ) ... like the international i9000 version of the phone it has the same stock messaging app - with the restriction of a maximum 80 characters per text! I really want to get rid of this and that is why I am interested in third-party SMS apps such as GO SMS Pro and Handcent SMS. My phone, BTW, is running Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread WF07.
I love Handcent MMS app but it will not send texts with pics in any Rom I've used since I got my SGS3. I can't figure it out.
