I tried updating my video card through envy and through the system update. Once it goes to load into the desktop i have no video, just a blank screen. It's a radeon hd 2400 pro video card. Any help would be great thanks
About to go nuts with this. I have an Ubuntu 14.04 Desktop VM that I'm trying to pass an Asus HD6450 video card through and get working. I've tried just about every suggestion I can think of and find on the net and have had to install this system 5-6 this weekend alone. Use the Ubuntu drivers, the ATI drivers, nothing.

I recently re installed Oneric on my Dell Vostro 1000. I got the wireless working (which wasn't a big deal) and now I am working on the video config. The video card is an ati x1150 Right now it seems to be using the gallium 3d driver version 0.3 i think and its working pretty well but I have noticed some sluggishness in the video.
I have an ATI 5670 HD. I'm running ubuntu 12.10 64bit. I've been having a hell of a time trying to install the most recent drivers for my video card. Everything else seems to be working with the exception of the video card. It's a fresh install on a new partition.
I had a spare machine running vista.I have removed vist and from CD installed ubuntu.
It all works ok except for my dual screens.
I want the dual screens so I can read instructions and try things on other screen
I have a "radeon hd4650 1gb ddr2 v/d hdmi" video card am very confused regarding setting up the video card.
