Android: transforming images and interpolation algorithm

http://stackoverflow.com – I am currently placing images over each other by drawing them on a canvas using a matrix. The problem is: after rotating and scaling I end up with dirty/rough edges. Looks like this: http://i.stack.imgur.com/5pPQJ.png The problem is NOT that the image is low resolution, my theory is that it is related to the interpolation algorithm of the drawing engine in android. Can anyone give me some advice here? (HowTos)

I have modified my eclipse colour theme to my liking but just cant seem to develop in peace because I keep having to squint and stare at the screen for certain elements. The colour default scheme is simply pathetic!

I have no idea what these elements are called and hence instead of attempting to describe them I have attached screenshots.

TROUBLE updating my system! ;_; 3 years 16 weeks ago

I was doing software updare under administration, but I can't update my poor baby. I just installed F12 I get errors like the ones below.

I have a documentation system that needs to send user updates regularily to users that do not sit on the same network. The network that the documentation system resides is up until now a closed one. I have to allow only mail sent from the network. I have a Netgear Prosafe firewall FVS318. I have simply created a custom rule that blocks all outgoing ports except for port 25 and now 53.

What the hell is imgur? Imgur, my friend, is the best image host in all the interwebz. It's my current image host of choice because of its simple design, fast speed, and overall awesomeness.
