http://androidforums.com – I bought a android phone with a 2.3.6 on it. I am not sure what brand of phone it is, it just says ebest. The person that helped me purchased it changed the language to english for me. However, a lot is still in chinese. I am afraid sometimes that I am hitting the wrong thing. I need to be able to use it in china. I wanted text messaging, but I keep getting text messages in chinese. (some maybe from the china mobile, so may be advertising. ) I also wanted to be able to use the GPS. I have not tried it yet because I am afraid it will be in chinese and take to much of my internet allowance. (I (General)

im heading to China in the beginning of January and will be staying there for about two to three months. so i was wondering is it possible for me to use my phone in china with a chinese sim card. i heard if i unlocked my phone then i will be able to use my phone with any carriers, but i dont know if that's true for chinese carriers. also, is there any risk for unlocking a phone?

The problem I am having is with receiving Japanese and Chinese text in text messages. I can send Chinese and Japanese charterers just fine, but when others send it to me it just ends up as a blank text. I have simeji installed and have tried other apps but nothing seems to work. Phone model: LG cx670 Android ver. : 2.2.2 my carrier is TELUS

I have a new ace and have changed the language to English. Still every time I go to samsung apps or others they try to set me up with apps in the chinese language. how can i change this? how can i change this? do i have to root the phone? btw i bought the phone in hong kong.

Hi everyone.

I was wondering if some one can help me with this problem that has been driving me nuts.

I am currently using the international version of the Samsung galaxy s3.

I am trying to find out how to get Chinese language to work when I type on this phone.

I had went to Settings>>Language and input>> Samsung Keyboard and had ticked on Chinese.

However although this allows me

Some Widgets(?) are considered "system" but are just wasting space. How do you remove it? i can`t just drag/edit it. I have rooted my phone, but these apparently are not apps. They seem to just be hyperlinks. Since they are Chinese(bought in Taiwan-I live here), and my Chinese sucks, so useless. I keep my phone internet off and only occasionally use Wifi.
