I am testing my app. It works fine on my Samsung Galaxy S5 and on my LG with android 4.1.2. But when I try to test it on LG 4.0.4 (real device) or an a simulator of Nexus 5, it crashes due to the following stack trace. My manifest is set to minimum sdk 11. Below the stack trace, I am also showing my GridView code.
What Is ClockworkMod Recovery And How To Use It On Android
ClockworkMod also known as Clockwork or CWM is a custom recovery for Android phones and tablets that allows you to perform several advanced recovery, restoration, installation and maintenance operations on your Android device that arent possible with the stock recovery.
I am attempting to use tracedmdump to parse trace files off the Android emulator. I have gone backwards and forwards with the Android OS repo, building the kernel, etc, and I can only assume I missed a step since when I run tracedmdump I get the output:
-bash: post_trace: command not found
*** Error: malformed trace.
So I flashed Paranoid-Android Jellybean and it just screwed up my phone. I had to use Odin to bring it back to stock. Now I've got it almost back to where I want it but I can't for the life of me get CWM recovery onto my phone.
i have a rooted galaxy ace gt_s5830 running stock gingerbread on which i tried to flash (several) cwm roms. obviously, this didn't work. (the first one was for the gt s5830i, and i don't remember why the others failed)
i did do a cwm backup beforehand and performed a recovery that listed as successful.
my phone has been acting up recently and i cant get it to boot past the M logo. I can get into fastboot but it wont actually boot any of those options, it just says it is starting them but doesn't actually. I can however get into android recovery by turning on the phone and selecting android recovery, then plugging it into my motorola lapdock.
I need to trace radio interface events log without having root privileges. It would be great to have the lowest layer protocol trace we can get ( e.g. AT commands or call control protocol).
I have 2 devices: OS Android 4.0.3, OS Android 2.3.4
Is it possible? How can I get such a trace? Have you had such a problem? What was the decision?
