What Is ClockworkMod Recovery And How To Use It On Android
ClockworkMod also known as Clockwork or CWM is a custom recovery for Android phones and tablets that allows you to perform several advanced recovery, restoration, installation and maintenance operations on your Android device that arent possible with the stock recovery.
So I flashed Paranoid-Android Jellybean and it just screwed up my phone. I had to use Odin to bring it back to stock. Now I've got it almost back to where I want it but I can't for the life of me get CWM recovery onto my phone.
my phone has been acting up recently and i cant get it to boot past the M logo. I can get into fastboot but it wont actually boot any of those options, it just says it is starting them but doesn't actually. I can however get into android recovery by turning on the phone and selecting android recovery, then plugging it into my motorola lapdock.
I have an android phone. I have lots of music/videos/movies in my PC. It would be very helpful if I could download/stream them from my android phone via wifi when I need them and I don't want to transfer them via cable. I have done some google search. Found some apps but they are basically for streaming or transferring files from android to PC. But I want the opposite.
I need to trace radio interface events log without having root privileges. It would be great to have the lowest layer protocol trace we can get ( e.g. AT commands or call control protocol).
I have 2 devices: OS Android 4.0.3, OS Android 2.3.4
Is it possible? How can I get such a trace? Have you had such a problem? What was the decision?
I tried almost any ROM known to work from user's feedbacks in the XDA forums, but I couldn't get any android ROM to work on my HD2.
I have installed magldr 1.13, installed radio 126.96.36.199 (BTW, my HD2 is NOT t-mobile), installed CWM recovery*, put some android ROMs on the microSD (2GB card) and then installed android ROMs from the Android recovery.
The installation process goes fine, no warning
