android ndk r9 build problems

http://stackoverflow.com – I downloaded the latest version (r9) of the android ndk. I'm now trying to build the prebuilt binaries, but I'm stuck. Downloading the sources with this command, as suggested in the manual, seems to work: ./build/tools/download-toolchain-sources.sh /tmp/ndk-src Next, I call ./build/tools/rebuild-all-prebuilt.sh --verbose /tmp/ndk-src/ and things start going wrong. First of all, I get complaints that I'm not starting from a bash shell, but I am. (I'm wondering, however, why rebuild-all-prebuilt.sh starts with #!/bin/sh line. Doesn't that mean it explicitly switches to sh, i.e. non-bash? Why (HowTos)
