I'm looking to create a method that runs when a marker's info box/snippet is clicked. As yet, I can't find anything about this, only the marker. Any help or links as to where I could find some more info?
In android I implemented the MapView V3 API and created a custom callout when a user taps the marker on the map. However i use the Title and text field of the marker for other purposes and because these field contain strings the default white callout appears when tapping a marker. I already tried the hideInfoWindow() method on creation and on the click event of the marker but its not working.
I just wonderin can i create multiple marker with different info window, in google maps v2 in Android, in my case right here, I try to 3 different marker,
1. School Marker
2. Direction (fromPosition)
So, I have searched high and low to find an answer to this problem.
I am trying to figure out how to modify the snippet text of a marker placed on my Google Map (map api v2), in an onPostExecute() call of an asynctask. How I would like to use this in my project, is to update the snippet text once the user has clicked on a marker.
I'm working on a personal project that I really need some advice on. So right now I'm building a spreadsheet for certain historical sites, collecting data on it, and etc. This is what I need to do next.
"Use Google map to locate the sites. Please take a screen shot of the map and the info and attach it to each line [row].
I am using a customize InfoWindow in Google Map using InfoWindowAdapter. Every time I click on a marker, it moves to the center of the mobile screen and open the info window. I was wondering if it is possible to stop the marker movement from the current location to the center.
