http://androidforums.com – Is there an older version of Android File Transfer that works with Android 2.3.6? The only version I can find requires Android 3 and above? I'm trying to transfer an Android App from my mac to my T-Mobile Prism. Thanks, (General)

Hi,

I want to transfer files from my MAC to my s2 and I am being told to use Android File Transfer.

When I click on download from this official Android.com site, the link is broken for me:

Has anyone else seen this or am I doing something wrong?

I want to buy a tablet but am on a budget. I want a Samsung tablet but dont know if I need to get 3g or not as I want to be able to download when I am out and about. I thought to myself, hello, I have a Samsung Galaxy S phone (yeah I know it's old) with 3g capability so why don't I download the app. I want on to that and just transfer it to the tablet.

Day two of the sg3 (still loving it) tried to get my contacts from my mac via itunes. Now sg3 will not come up at all. It was working with android file transfer (how I got my music on there) but now, no dice. I tried the whole hard reset, nothing. Uninstalled app and nada. Any tips??
