i'm thinking if one can use mobile phones to connect to the internet on a computer(laptop, desktop) then why not use any broadband connection to connect a mobile phone to the internet.

1) is it possible ? 2) if yes, then what do i need to do ? 3) if no, why not ?

I am using a USB modem to connect to the internet from my laptop. My laptop has WIFI enabled, Is it possible to share my internet connection with my IPOD using the WIFI.

I have tried looking many tutorials, from the internet. Everything talks about wired connection and changing IPv4 connection settings.

Hi I am from India and using BSNL (ISP) (dynamic IP) broadband connection I have D-link 502T ADSL 2+ Router. I can connect to internet in windows vista.
