I am at wits end trying to find a way to get citrix working on my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2.
I have loaded Citrix reciever and it works fine on Ipads but dead end for Android. Any ideas???
I am using Ubuntu 12.04 and the latest version of Citrix Receiver downloaded with the .deb file from the Citrix website. Previously Citrix has been working fine but recently I received the following error notice "You have chosen not to trust "Go Daddy Secure Certificate Authority - G2", the issuer of the server's security certificate (SSL error 61)".
The project I am currently working on requires me to use a Citrix desktop client. While the Citrix desktop client isn't all that bad, I am not (nor will I ever be) an admin in that desktop environment. As a developer - this couldn't be any more frustrating.
I should say that I have citrix reciever installed and working but I have broken dependencies and can;t install anything else till resolved. I'm using 64bit Kubuntu 14.04. Citrix requires ia32 libs. I solved that issue and forced installed the icaclient which requires lib32asound2. I found a deb and forced installed lib32asound2. Citrix works but lib32asound has a broken depenency.
I have had a hard time keeping the Citrix ica client working on my Debian Jessie desktop pc since Citrix have not bothered to update it properly for AMD64 or multiarch. The last straw was the lib32asound2 dependency which I was not able to fix.
I am new to Citrix and am thinking of proposing a Citrix solution for our home and remote office workers. My question is regarding deployment and licensing. To allow the clients to have remote application deployment via Citrix XenApp do we need to buy anything in addition to the Citrix XenApp and Windows Server 2008? Is there additional Citrix software/licensing that is required?
