I want to play an audio file over VoIP in order that people can listen to it with a phone call. One way to do this would be to set up the audio file as an audio device where the audio starts playing at a specified time.
There are better ways of playing my file over VoIP, but I'm still curious as to how you would set up the audio device that I discuss.
I'm trying to listen to the audio output of a specific process (A) and another process (B) while redirecting A's audio output to B's audio input.
I have a queer issue with my Arch-Linux System.
I am unable to get any Sound Output when playing audio, AFTER starting X Server.
The issue is not with Volume Controls or Sound Card Drivers because, if I start any kind of Audio playback BEFORE starting X Server, I have absolutely no issues. The Audio keeps playing even after X Server starts.

Android: How to stop media (mp3) in playing when specific milliseconds come?
I'm a beginner in all the android programming stuff, soo this is my question: how can I stop an audio background in the minute that I want, for example:
open an activity then start the audio, but I want that the audio stop playing in the minute 1:25.
I am running OpenBSD/amd64 5.2 stable on a new machine, using a gigabyte motherboard with a realtek alc898 audio chipset. When I try to play any audio (sources include mpd, aucat, and cat > /dev/audio), I always end up with the system playing a grinding sound, not quite the same as white noise.
