What Is ClockworkMod Recovery And How To Use It On Android
ClockworkMod also known as Clockwork or CWM is a custom recovery for Android phones and tablets that allows you to perform several advanced recovery, restoration, installation and maintenance operations on your Android device that arent possible with the stock recovery.
So I flashed Paranoid-Android Jellybean and it just screwed up my phone. I had to use Odin to bring it back to stock. Now I've got it almost back to where I want it but I can't for the life of me get CWM recovery onto my phone.
All right, ANY help would be great. I searched all the forums, found some stuff but nothing useful. I messed up my phone by doing a factory data reset on a rooted phone (lg optimus v) and got stuck in a clockwork recovery bootloop. I fixed this with the xperia.zip file. NOW I'm stuck immediatly afterwards in the android boot.
My phone is ZTE 4G. Last time my Niece Dropped it and I thought it was ok...but it kept saying that Android system recovery <3e> ...reboot system now...and I wiped the date/factory reset and it said data wipe complete.
but when I reboot and power it on,it kept going back to this recovery system thing again and again....so would any one please help me.
I was using clockworkmod to flash a new ROM on my E4GT; I accidentally flashed a file which I thought was a 'safe' recovery so I could go back to ICS from JB. Well it was not a safe recovery as I thought. Before doing this, I did a format all as usual, so I now have no ROM on the phone.
my phone has been acting up recently and i cant get it to boot past the M logo. I can get into fastboot but it wont actually boot any of those options, it just says it is starting them but doesn't actually. I can however get into android recovery by turning on the phone and selecting android recovery, then plugging it into my motorola lapdock.
