Hi people, I was just wandering if it was a stupid idea to use my nexus 7 while I charge it? I'm not sure if this would have a bad affect on the battery life once it is fully charged. I leave my galaxy S2 on charge over night and this has seriously messed up its battery life so I have learned not to leave anything on charge over night but an answer to my initial question would be great!
If i charge the battery when the phone is on it charges quickly like 5% to 100% in about 45 mins ...this quickly charged battery drains in just half a day. Now if i charge the battery when the phone is off it takes regular time to charge fully and lasts 2 days!! Its not convinient to turn off the phone and charge!! help???
Recently, I dropped my Galaxy Nexus (which is running stock with the latest GB update) from the couch.
The phone seemed fine except everything related to the battery has gone nuts.
I've rebooted, drained and fully charged the phone, etc, etc.
I have not reset to factory however.
Here's what I'm seeing:
1. When I connect the charger to it, it sometimes wont charge.
Im aware that one or two other threads have been created with this same general question but one thing they didnt ask is what to do if you cant fix it?
As the thread topic states my Nexus 7 will not connect to my PC via USB (It is not seen at all, its not a driver issue I've tried). It will not charge when turned on but it was charging when turned off last night.
Just purchased an 8400mAh power bank, and its great. It recharged my Xperia S to full and took the same time as using the wall socket. But this morning I woke up to find the battery had drained to 70%.
Now that never happens usually so is it possible that the battery pack has worsened the charge time for this charge cycle? I'll do more tests in the coming days, but I can't believe this?
thanks
OK so i installed almost every ROM on there and here is what i found.
TOP.
:good: CleanGB ---- Takes the crown, super fast battery charge in less then 45minutes the battery is full. Over a period of 8 hours in stand by(as i sleep) the battery did not drop at all.
 CM9 ---- Took over 2.5 hours to charge the battery, in 8 hours it dropped 12% battery life.
Hello. I bought a HTC one X in China and send it to my GF who's in UK. But she constantly get charging problems.
The problem is like this:
1) Can't charge at all using AC adapter if the battery is not empty. The battery bar just keep decreasing no matter whether you pluged the power line or not. (Faster with the line pluged).
Hey all, my wife's Nexus 7 is doing something odd, she didn't use it for a few days do left it on charge. Took it off and after 2 hours the battery dropped to 0% and stayed that way until she noticed it 5 hours later. The status bar icon registers when its on charge but the battery app says 0% Unknown.
