I'm working on android app(Html5,Senchatouch,Extjs) performance testing in android samsung tablet 10.1.
To connect to to android tablet i've to set proxy mode in android wifi settings.
Proxy mode:-
Android Tablet with wireless(Donut, Eclair, Froyo, Gingerbread version) there is no global proxy support enabled.
I'm using my laptop at school and at home, however internet access to each requires different proxy settings. I searched for a way do do this, but I couldn't find a solution, short of manually setting it.

i am using skype on samsung s3, when ever i connect to wifi network (wifi without proxy/nat router) skype works fine. but when i connect to wifi network and have to use proxy, skype connects but doesn't display contacts.
whereas Internet works fine on browser.
Any idea to solve this.
I'm trying to use a proxy with Chromium (25.0.1364.160 on Kubuntu 13.04) but whatever settings I use Chromium ignores. The proxy is configured and working correctly and confirmed to be working by using Firefox.

i work on ubuntu 12.04 with a internet connection using proxy. Lately the proxy address changed, and now suddenly I cannot connect to internet whatsoever. Strangely, the same proxy adress does work on a windows machine. I know there is a bug concerning the system wide application of proxy settings, but that is not my problem. If i set the new proxy address in firefox it just does not connect.

I just installed Ubuntu on my computer and I don't know much about Ubuntu but still installed because I was having trouble with windows now I cannot connect to the internet through the proxy the wifi is working as it detects the networks and even connects to the network but I cannot connect to the internet even after putting the required proxy settings. What should I do?
