It seems using Java to define the size of the icon to set on a home screen is not a simple issue.
One would assume 36-ldpi, 48-mdpi, 72-hdpi, 96-xhdpi but (and it's a big but)
Some screens get a too small or too large icon on them. (like the Asus TF-201 belonging to mdpi and getting a too-small icon.
After compiling an app with a 72x icon, The scaling on several devices of differing dpi makes the icon appear slightly blurry. I have icons of different sizes (xhdpi 96x, mdpi 48x, and ldpi 36x) but have not yet found out how to include them or found confirmation if it is possible.

Now about the icon theme. It's a port of famous iOS GladHander theme for MIUI.

I'm working on an app and I'm little bit stuck there in layouts (android phones, not tablets).
After I installed updates today and restarted, the launcher icons reset to the default size. In the System Settings / Appearance, the slider to adjust the icon size is no longer there. At first I suspected it was using to Unity 2D, but I don't think it is. I log out and made sure Unity was selected, and if I set the launcher to auto hide, it becomes transparent before sliding away.
I have finished the coding of my app, and am running Lint to make sure all performance issues are resolved.
I have created graphics for ldpi, mdpi, hdpi & xhdpi; but Lint is telling me something is wrong:

Intentionally or accidentally I have removed Firefox from Unity launcher. When I opened Firefox to get the icon on launcher so that I can right-click it and choose "Keep on launcher" When I did so, the icon stays for the session, but when I logged out and return again, I don't see the icon on launcher. How can I keep Firefox icon on launcher?!

So I moved from my original EVO to the LTE and migrated my Launcher Pro settings to the new LTE. The icons that I created for the Launcher Pro dock are a bit teeny tiny on the new phone. I created them with a size of 84 x 84 pixels. Does anyone have a suggested size for the new LTE?? I could trial-by-error it I suppose but thought I'd ask....

I was unable to change launcher icon size from ccsm, I find configure part as I followed steps on this link
But after log out / in again, the icon size didn't reduce.
I'm running Latest Ubuntu 12.04
