https://bbs.archlinux.org – I'm not posting a bug or problem.  Just my experience these past few days -- an FYI for anyone else who has been fussing about with this.I am a Linux user of "intermediate" experience.  I use Arch (i686) with XFCE on a moderately old Acer Aspire 2920Z laptop -- and I was trying to get an analog clock on the screen without "cairo dock" (which I hate -- all I want from it is a clock, anyway).Puppy Linux uses "xonclock" which is nice AND in the AUR -- but it no longer compiles due to a "freetype" version dependency issue.  Xonclock is no (HowTos)

I think we don't need clock in status bar cause everyone use some kind of widget that provide us with time information so I try to remove it by deleting line

Are there any "alternate" clock apps? or like "watch sync" apps?

Here is the scenario, the time clock at my office is about a min or so faster than my cell, or desktop. is there a clock that i could run in tandem to the standard clock?

Basically like a world clock, except it's the same time zone just a min or so faster or slower?

I had NO luck searching for a solution to my problem on the Internet, but I figured out a solution and wanted to share it. I did this under Xubuntu 11.10.

A-ha!  It was the "Multi Track Internal Clock" parameter.  It was set to "IEC958 Input", an external clock source, which was not connected.  I had to set it to "96000" and my audio came right to life.  Damn, I had the feeling something like this was the case.  So it was me being dumb after all   This is on a high-end audio production card

I have the Digital Clock widget running in the panel at the bottom of my screen. Currently, it displays the time like this:

I would like to remove the zero and the "pm" so it looks like this:

8:14

Is there a way to do this? If not the zero, at least the "pm?"

stock app Clock forcecloses 31 weeks 5 days ago

first of all I'm not rooted. I'm completely stock and I have been using the clock app ever since I got this phone. today all of sudden when I tried to open it, it foreclosed. I restarted the device but I keep having the same problem. "unfortunately, clock has stopped." is the msg I get. yesterday I downloaded lookout and updated Google street maps. anyone??
